This year the Border Union Show will host the National Aberdeen Angus Show on Saturday 31 July 2010. Prior to the National Show a Jackpot Yearling Show will be held on the Friday evening at 6pm followed by a Hog Roast at 7.30pm. The Jackpot will be judged by Mr Ian Campbell, a completely different judge to the National Show, entry fees are £20.00 per animal and the overall winner will take home half of the entry fees. Entries will be taken up to one hour prior to the start of the show and classes will be determined once all entries are known. Tickets for the Hog Roast which will take place in the Public Bar near the sheep lines will be on sale on the evening at a cost of £4.00. Don’t miss this one-off unique event!!
